April Fool, That's Me

Well, that was dumb. It started this morning, I was making Max's lunch, business as usual, when I wrote his name on his lunch sack. I wrote M and then finished as 'Museum' instead of 'Max'. I was thinking about the museum and what I needed to do at work and just got confused.

I turned the calendar to April so I could pass my schedule along to Kelly, forgot about the rest of March until tonight. I was reading the blogs I browse when I got to Janice's blog she mentioned a banquet at school, my sis Kathi left a comment that she was also going to attend the banquet.

Slowly, oh so very slowly, it started to dawn on me, my family should also be attending the banquet. Hubby. Max and I were to attend the FFA banquet and we were to bring a homemade pie. At that point it was too late to bake a pie. Hubby was home today and had dinner well under control.

In March I totally forgot my Building and Grounds Committee meeting, thought of it during the afternoon and then forgot until the next morning.

I am totally dingin' out as of late. I am a bit tired, but that is no excuse for everyone I'm letting down.

Maybe I'm coming down with something, forgetfulitis?

If I'm not where I am supposed to be, call me. My intentions are good. Really.

It's just mommy brain - we all have it! It's ok - I remembered the banquet but didn't remember what time to get my jello there - obviously I brought it too late, because I have a full 9x13 jello that I brought home :-)

At least you MADE a lunch - wrong name, but a lunch. I'm the brilliant Mom who FORGOT the lunch on Monday.
