Saturday morning was the Walk to Defeat ALS event in Bellingham. My Aunt Nelda's family and friends came out to support her. She made the opening remarks and cut the ribbon to kick off the walk.
I was so proud of her.
The picture of Aunt Nelda and me is one of many. I gave my camera to Aunt Rose and she kept telling me that she didn't think it was working. Oh, it was working, I got about 50 pics of us getting ready for the shot, the money shot and then the after shots. They are pretty funny pics.
As soon as we would take a group shot more team members would show up.
So, this isn't everyone but it's some of us.
Aunt Nelda cut the ribbon and the walk began.
I walked right to my car instead of finishing the course since I have a fracture in my ankle bone.
The rest of the team, including Aunt Nelda finished strong!
