Hear my cry, Oh God; listen to my prayer.
From the ends of the earth I call to you.
I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock higher than I.
Psalm 61:1-2
It seems as though there is so much hurt and pain in our little community lately.
We seem to be drowning in loss.
I feel as though I have a permanent lump in my throat.
Blinking back the tears and aching for mothers' broken hearts,
My deepest sympathy seems inadequate for such a loss.
Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always.
I Chronicles 16:11
God is our refuge and strength,
and ever-present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1
My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from Him.
Psalm 62:1
Take care, my friends.
I'm praying for the peace that passes understanding for you.
There is no understanding your loss. I won't pretend that I do.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all
joy and peace in believing,
that you may abound in hope
by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
