Max and Kassie got married on December 16th at the Leopold Crystal Ballroom. It was a magical setting for a winter wedding.
The tables were set and ready to be pulled forward after the ceremony.
Hubby and I had a cocktail hour set up in an adjoining room. They switched the ballroom after the ceremony for the reception dinner and dance.
Brian and Holly did the chalk art for the wedding. Max and Kassie didn't have a farm themed wedding but the beer was Bale Breaker Top Cutter IPA, and a Farm Strong Pilsner, a nod to our hay farmer, along with the porter Founder's Dark, Rich and Sexy. We had fun choosing the beer. They had Pendleton Ginger as their signature drink, a nod to our favorite red head, Kassie.
Hubby and I had fun hosting cocktail hour and we couldn't have done it without D.L. and Randi.
They did a great job.
Kassie's parents had Sunset catering for the dinner. It was delicious!
Max and Kassie wanted to remember their Grandpas at the wedding, and set up a memorial.
We had pictures before the wedding. Kassie's niece, Ella, wanted to show Jess the locket with Grandpa's picture. Ella was really into her job as flower girl for her Auntie KiKi.
The girls took a break. Pictures are hard work!
We went back to the venue and Max and Kassie had pictures with their Grandmas.
The ceremony was at 5:00 p.m.
And they're married!
They looked so happy as they joined the reception and were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Rylaarsdam.
My gals were there and so happy for me. They know how special Kassie is to me.
The toasts were beautifully written by her sisters, Kayla and Kelsie, Max's best man, Tyler and Kassie's Dad, Ron.
Then there was dancing, dessert, and mingling and visiting with everyone.
Kathi took this picture and I love it. Ella wanted to be a part of everything.
Max loves donuts and Kassie surprised him with a donut buffet. Hubby built the wall.
Hubby and I love these kiddos so much. It was wonderful to celebrate them and their love.
We are so excited for them. Almost as exciting as it was to take off our shoes and fall over at the end of the night. Whew! This mama is beat tired.
I'll post better pictures after the photographer finishes editing. These are all snap shots. And now... Christmas is coming and I am not ready.
