I had to attend a very important meeting this morning at Woods Coffee. My sisters and cousins and myself met for coffee. To everyone that was at Woods Coffee this morning I'd like to apologize, we all talked at the same time and may have been LOUD.
We're a tad excited. Giddy even.
In October we are taking a sista's trip to the Big Apple. New York City!
My cousin Nancy lives in Pennsylvania so we will be staying with her and her husband (who is a saint for allowing us to move in) for three nights and we'll be staying in the city for three nights. Nancy is here for a visit. She wears Prada shoes, so obviously she's been to the CITY.
Apparently, we need to wear heels in NYC. She has all kinds of plans for us. Bless her heart.
I hope we don't make her crazy.
We bought our airplane tickets at our last meeting. Today we looked at apartments to rent, talked about ground transportation, Broadway shows, shopping and sights to see.
I announced that I am checking a bag. I can't be gone for six nights with just carry on luggage. Well, I could, I guess but HELLO there's shopping in New York City.
I think everyone was relieved with my announcement. Now everyone can justify their checked luggage with,
"Tami's checking a bag so I may as well."

Wise decision! The shopping is unbelievable and then there's the shoe's in the store windows--just calling your name!! You will love it!!
Absolutely - one can't be expected to wear the same outfit twice in NYC!! So excited for you guys! (kind of jealous too :)
