We decided to freshen up the trailer with some slip covers. Don't even think it... we know, the curtains are next.

Have I ever reupholstered furniture, nope. Does Jolene sew? Do I sew? Did we have any idea of what we doing? Nope. Did that stop us? Nope.
The Before, brown plaid, so sad.
Shelly came to help us. Thanks goodness.
We used two flat sheets for the backs, one of the sofas had a triple fold. {Be IMPRESSed}
It took so much thinking to figure out how to get the lining where it had to be and the stripes where they had to be. Quite frankly, you have no idea. You practically had to be a genius to keep it all straight.
Last summer I found the leaves and vines and bug fabric at a garage sale. It was perfect for the dinette and coordinated nicely with the stripes.
My teeny tiny sewing machine is portable and we worked right in the trailer.
We had some good laughs, we had exactly enough fabric, like exactly enough, down to the half inch, we impressed ourselves, we know we aren't going into business, and we know we don't suffer from dementia.
I'm too blind to thread a needle, so every time the thread came out, Shelly had to rethread. And trust me, it was a lot!
The After, NiCe!
The slip covers can be removed for washing. We have some cute ideas for the curtains, maybe muslin or roller shades with dingle balls...
Happy Trails, Jo!
